Most people use a password manager and its much faster to be able to login with an email and password and even if there is 2fa that allows a much more seamless experience. Please add it.

Can there be a live transcript option so people who are slightly hearing impaired or struggle with auditory processing problems interpret meetings by reading along when needed

* The Problem: Sometimes AI transcriptions glitch, hallucinate, or just struggle with the audio on the first try. Right now, if a transcript is unusable, users have to delete the entry, manually re-upload the heavy audio file, and start completely from scratch. This wastes both the user's time and their internet bandwidth. * The Fix: Add a simple "Resubmit" or "Run Again" button on the file's page. Since the audio is already hosted on WaveAI's servers, the system can just ping the AI engine to try again (perhaps allowing the user to tweak a setting, like the language or speaker count, before re-running). * Bonus Benefit: This saves WaveAI server bandwidth (by eliminating redundant file uploads) and drastically reduces user frustration by turning a tedious do-over into a single click.

When an incoming call comes in, a setting/feature that doesn’t auto stop the recording. Many times I have wave turned on during a 30-60 min meeting and if a call comes in I have to restart recording. Instead of 1 clean transcript it’s 3-6, and also rude gotta keep pulling out my phone

Option to remove if desired

* The Problem: AI transcriptions often group long stretches of audio into massive, unreadable blocks of text. Furthermore, the AI sometimes misses a quick speaker change (like an interruption or fast back-and-forth) and lumps two different speakers into a single paragraph. Right now, fixing this formatting inside the platform is difficult or impossible. * The Fix: Allow users to click anywhere inside a text segment and hit "Split" (or use a keyboard shortcut like Enter) to instantly break that paragraph into two separate blocks. The system would automatically calculate the new timestamp for the split. * Bonus Benefit: This gives users total control over their transcripts. It makes fixing speaker labels incredibly fast and allows video/audio editors to create perfectly timed, bite-sized captions without having to export the text and fix it in a separate app.

The Problem There is a sporadic but frustrating bug where the summary section becomes completely uneditable within the app. Currently, the only way to bypass this lock is to log into the web platform, switch the text editor mode to "code," and edit the raw text there. The Fix Patch the rich-text editor so summaries remain consistently editable in the standard view across both the app and the web, without freezing or locking up. Bonus Benefit This restores a seamless mobile experience and prevents users from having to use confusing, developer-style workarounds just to correct a simple typo or adjust their notes on the go.

The Problem: WaveAI generally does a fantastic job learning and remembering individual voices across sessions. However, if a person's audio quality changes—such as switching from a high-quality headset to a phone mic, or dealing with background noise—the system often gets tricked into creating a completely new, duplicate VoiceID for them. The Fix Allow users to manually merge these fragmented VoiceIDs within the system's speaker directory. Users should be able to select "VoiceID A (Clear)" and "VoiceID B (Muffled)" and combine them into a single profile. Bonus Benefit This makes the platform's speaker recognition exponentially smarter over time. It actively trains the AI to recognize a person's voice regardless of their environment or equipment, ensuring far more accurate automatic labeling in future recordings.

The Problem: Currently the Notion integration sends everything to a single, default location. Users organizing different types of content—such as separating professional meeting transcriptions from personal notes or specific project files—have to manually move the documents around inside Notion after they are exported from WaveAI. The Fix Add a quick drop-down menu or search field during the export process so users can pick the exact target Notion database or parent page where the file should land. Bonus Benefit This creates a truly seamless workflow. Sending professional documentation directly to the correct folder right from the start saves time and keeps workspaces perfectly organized without requiring double-handling.

1. When I click on a phone number in Mac OS, can it be set up to automatically open WAVE and put the number into the dialer? Then I just have to click Go. Currently it does that for my old Skype, so I know it's possible, but I don't know what you have to do to enable it on your side. 2. The Mac OS dialer could be a lot more friendly. Can I paste a phone number in rather than having to click the buttons? Can I type numbers on my keyboard instead of having to click the button?

I am constantly "tweaking" my customized summary prompt and instead of "updating" I have to save it as new. There should be a way to override the one that exists if I need to instead of recreating it. I havve way too many custmizations because of this.

Recognise language of the way automatically without having to change in settings

I definitely use the summaries in OneNote but it would be great to have an automatic upload of the transcript and audio to a designated OneDrive folder. For the most, the audio and transcript will be accessed less than the summary but needs to "land" in a space where it is effectively merely retained, and simultaneously accessible to a larger team. Once transfered, it can then be deleted on the Wave side, to optimize space in Wave and OneNote simultaneously

We use a vast amount of virtual assistants in online court proceedings. The feature where one can name the assistant is brilliant. However, it would be great to be able to upload a profile Pic for the assistant, as that would elevate the professionality in having a brand identified bot in the hearings / meetings.

I’m unable to publish to web. The wave button is blocking the button because it’s constantly on show

Swiping down in the app takes you back to the previous page even when you are only trying to scroll back up to the top of the page. It happens often in the transcript page, when reading through the summary. When reviewing a transcript and the page is stopped, if you swipe down (to go up the page), the page disappears and takes you back to the list of recordings. If you scroll up first and don't allow the page to stop, you can scroll down the page without closing. It also happens in the settings. (Android)

The ability for a one-click, 'select all' button inside the folders.

Hello. I am using an Android phone. When I edit text of a recording, I cannot save it as the save button is down the bottom underneath the playback of recording button. I simply cannot access it to save the edited text (thus I lose it when I get out of the page). Please can you update where that save button goes to fix this problem.

Would be great if uploads and transcription could be paused and allow for a new recording where both/all could be uploaded and transcribed later. I spend my day jumping from meeting to meeting and can only record every other one due to the current limitation of not starting another until the above steps are completed for the prior one. I’m glad to wait for the summaries and AI interactions as I use those later in the day after all my calls are complete and just need the ability to capture everything first before worrying about next steps.

Please allow me to pick up a paused recording instead of having to start a new one and stop both!

Just as there's an option to automatically start recording Teams, etc. meetings, have this option for in-person meetings where my phone would automatically start recording. I often forget to manually start recording in-person meetings. It would be great if this just happened on its own (optional/configurable, of course).

(1)When recording an in person meeting, the recording device, be that the phone, tablet or laptop will end up in an optimal recording position, but the operator mostly not. It would thus be useful to use your phone / android or apple smart watch as a remote, to control the recording. (2) similarly, the adapting of a basic smartwatch app, to do the principle lifting as a remote and to record voice notes, eg when jogging, or in the gym or even in bed, would be extremely useful

Speakers are named automatically, but there is no way to add speakers the automation missed or correct ones that were named wrong. Editing should be possible without changing the speakers that were already named correctly.

I suggest adding real-time transcription for recordings, a feature already offered by some apps. This would enhance accessibility and usability. Additionally, consider integrating real-time translation options to make content instantly accessible across languages, further expanding your app’s reach and functionality.

If you accidentally hit the back button on a phone when recording it closes your wave and crashes. There needs to be a popup asking if you wish to close. Same if you hit the giant red button, a 'end wave?' popup. I use the camera feature a lot and I've lost huge chunks of college lecture from this when bouncing between taking pictures and the recording screen

I probably don't use this like most people. I have summary templates built for meeting topics so trying to find them in the Horizontal view is very difficult. I would like to be able to categorize them in a folder and then find that summary template, in the folder to be applicable to the meeting. I attend about 20 meetings a week and the topic changes from meeting to meeting but not week to week.

They are stacking up. Even when I put them in folders they still show there and if I delete, it also deletes from the folder location. It’s too cluttered. I saw discussion about being able to filter but see no filter option in my iOS app.

Hi, I would really appreciate the ability to work better with recordings stored in individual folders. What I mean is that I would like to be able to transfer the contents of individual folders to other folders, better structure individual folders, move them from one to another, and possibly even create subfolders. If this were possible, and there were more intuitive tools for doing so, it would really help me to better organize the content I create. THX

I often find myself wanting to revisit what i actually said (since llms cannot extract verbatim info). It would be handy if the summary had backlinks to the section it summarised.

The ability to extract from texts received on mobile phones a range of texts based on dates, and or voice notes when available.

Able to create a new voice note, meeting or other note and append to an existing note or thread, then update the AI summary and action items, removing redundancy.

Needs to be a way to long hold the volume button or something similar in order to activate the recording feature. In example; phone is in your pocket or under table, you don’t have to unlock the phone to begin recording conversations. I am currently in an medical ICU care unit as a patient and have multiple doctors and medical staff in and out telling me things that others need or want to know but I can’t always remember the verbiage and descriptive conversations I have with each person and it becomes a nightmare trying to get things done.

Hi, it would be very helpful for me to use the AI assistant (chat) across my records—I need information about this or that and don't want to search through each record individually. At least within Folders, if not across my entire database in Wave. Wave is becoming my meeting memory—and I'm not always able to find a specific meeting, so why not create my own memory from my records that I can use across folders or meetings, using AI?

I'd love to be able to select and copy text from a chat I have with the bot about specific wave recordings.

Can location data be added to each recording? It’d be great to have a map view in the app that allows you to search by location.

I would like a keyword, maybe something like "hey Wave," where whatever I say right after that is an instruction to the AI that becomes part of its prompt relating to how it creates the summaries. I can use it to specify meeting attendees that are not obvious, spelling how I would like the summary organized. I could use it to point out something that I want included in the notes for sure. Anyone in the meeting would be able to use this. There would be nothing secret about it, just simply a flag to tell the AI to pay attention to the next thing and treat it as a command.

It would be nice if we could continue a recording or restart a recording that had already started and accidentally press the stop button? When u press the stop it starts processing it for notes which is fine but it’d be nice If you could say I need to continue a conversation or continue in that same file. I guess you would say.

It would make my life much easier if recordings were named after the meeting title in my calendar. I understand that naming based on the context of the meeting is also useful, so I would appreciate having the option to choose in the settings. I have to transcribe every recording to keep my system organized. And it's really annoying. Thank you very much.

the recording automatically sends to email after recording, but you don’t have the ability to edit the title to help organize them prior to that. To be able to edit the title during the recording, or prior to finalizing, would be very helpful.

I often find myself in meetings where multiple languages are spoken. It would be tremendously helpful to have a running live transcription along with real time translation into my preferred language to speed interactions.

is there a way to import an external transcript, such as a teams transcript for a call I was not on, to use the AI summary to summarize based on that transcript?

I use Wave AI daily for work and during meetings, and it’s become an essential tool for me. One issue I consistently run into, however, is that when an incoming phone call occurs while I’m recording, the recording pauses or stops — even if I don’t answer the call and even when my phone is set to Do Not Disturb. Because many meetings happen back-to-back and unexpected calls are common, this can interrupt important recordings without any user action. Suggested improvement: When a device is set to Do Not Disturb, incoming calls should not pause or interrupt an active recording. Alternatively, a setting that allows users to “ignore incoming calls while recording” would be extremely helpful. This would significantly improve reliability for users who depend on Wave during live meetings and work sessions. Thank you for continuing to build such a powerful product — this small change would make a big difference in day-to-day use.

Instead of only allowing me to take photos, also allow me to paste in from my clipboard into that section. You could rename it as images rather than photos, especially on the laptop/desktop app. When I'm in a Zoom meeting, I often use the screen capture to grab slides or other things that are happening during the meeting, and I'd love to paste those in as photos.

Allow me to use the Take Notes and the Add Photos features even after the recording is completed. My notes would survive if I redo the summary by changing the prompt. If I have to go into a summary to edit and add my notes, those notes would be destroyed if I remake the summary later.

Love the app I use it daily. I like to organize my waves to access them quickly and refer back to. To do this i organize them in Google drive as it the only option that makes sense to my neurodivergent brain the other options are too heavy for me to use consistently). Would like and option that allows me to share all 3 as one file package to Google drive

I want a feature by which all voice recordings are deleted. Transcripts and summaries are fine for us. Not voice recording. We want our AI agent to listen and write. But not have a record of conversations, if that makes sense.

It would be really handy to not have the detour of sending an email to myself to utilise the output of a chat reponse. I simply need a button to copy one reply by the AI. E.g i ask to write me a tweet draft that i then want to use on my mac. Mac/iphone clipboard sharing makes this super smooth if I was able to simple copy parts or all of the output.

I use wave AI a lot, I love it! I use it to record during meetings so I don’t miss details. However if in the meeting I need to show a photo on my phone it’s really awkward that the recording is very obviously on the screen. It would be awesome if it was much more incognito

Provide a way to edit the recording to cut the end if the user forgets to stop recording or being able to edit out silence.

It would be incredibly helpful if the system could better recognize and learn individual voices to reduce frequent mislabeling of speakers. Additionally, if a speaker’s name is corrected or updated in the transcript, that change should automatically apply across the entire transcript to maintain consistency.

I practiced speaker isolation and identification by recording a podcast. The app did an excellent job of accurate speaker separation even though they occasionally talked over each other. Impressive! The GUEST was correctly identified and labeled in the transcript. However, the HOST was incorrectly identified as being the name of the guest introduced for the next segment, which I did not record. In many cases, the transcript will be much more useful to me than the summary, so I wanted to figure out a way to edit the transcript to reflect the speakers accurately. The app lets me edit each speaker's line individually but not globally. i suppose. I could export it to a word processor and do it in there, but it would be nice if I could globally edit it in the app. Not an issue, but a comment: While the app was processing the translation, the word "Recording..." was still visible in the upper left-hand corner, leading me to believe that it was still RECORDING the conversation rather than PROCESSING it. I started frantically looking for ways to stop the recording when the translation finally appeared.

I need to export like 50 files at the same time and it seems like I need to proceed one by one. It'd be a great help to have the possibility to export the files en masse.

The 1 hour limit is a problem.

The transcript should allow you to split or group transcript entries. For example, where one section refers to a single speaker, but actually has multiple voices, I should be able to insert a break and identify the different speaker. Similarly, where there are multiple transcript lines for a single speaker, I should be able to group them. This happens where the app misidentifies a speaker as being different from the preceding or succeeding speaker.

Linking and coding

The main recording list would be great to see if the recordings are saved in which folder, so that one can easily recognize those that are not saved in any folder.

Sometimes I use chat to ask about things that are not detailed enough in the summary or to explore/explain those points better. When I later revisit the summary either in the app or if I export it I would love for that information to still be there as part of the summary.

I have regular meetings with the same people and use Wave AI to record/summarize each meeting, just like a coach would with each client, a therapist with each patient, or a manager with each direct report employee. If all summaries/transcript for a specific client are all in the same Wave AI Directory, would it be possible to read across all of them and summarize all sessions (main themes, progress, next steps, etc.) in one short summary - the same way we can now chat across a single folder? My need is not as much to chat but to be able to quickly understand a client's situation and prepare next steps with them. Even better, reprocess a "running summary" every time a new conversation is added in the directory so it always reflects the latest information? OK, if I'm pushing it, even make suggestions on next steps, objectives and key results, coaching points, etc.

It would be really good if Wave updated the summary and notes from a meeting with any updated speaker names. Currently you can update the speaker names, but it doesn’t then re- produce the summary or notes, using the corrected names.

Be able to select multiple waves and either move to folders or share via email

I've been using Wave for awhile now and I find myself looking for alternatives because Wave lacks basic organization features. Yes, you can create folders, but you cannot see which Waves are in folders and more importantly, which Waves are NOT in any folders from the main screen. Every single Wave you've ever created is just listed on the "All" screen with no visible folder tags or clues about whether or not you've put each Wave in a place where you can find it again when you need it. Furthermore, sharing Waves is problematic. Sharing via email just puts all the text into an html formatted body of the email. No text file attachments or audio attachment. Sharing to Google Drive is particularly troublesome. Here are the steps I use to share a Wave to my Google Workspace Drive from Wave for iPhone: 1. Open the session in Wave 2. Tap the Share icon 3. Tap "Share to Google Docs" (I use this because it seems the only way to share the Summary text and the full Transcript text at the same time) 3. iPhone pops up "Wave wants to Use "google.com" to Sign in". Tap "Continue" 4. "accounts.google.com" slides up. Tap my work account. 5. "Wave wants to access your Google Account". Must scroll down to see buttons. Then tap "Allow". [NOTE THAT using the Google Docs option, you will not be presented with the location to save it to. It will just save it to your "My Drive"] 6. Wait for upload, then pops up "Export Successful" dialog. Tap "Close". 7. Tap "Share Audio". Wait while "Preparing Audio..." 8. iPhone share sheet pops up. I have to scroll left to get to my "Google Drive" icon (depends on how you organize your share sheet) 9. Top "Drive" icon. 10. Upload dialog slides up. You may have to tap "Account" and choose from your list of accounts (it defaults to the last account used). 11. You COULD tap the "Folder" and navigate your way to the place you actually want to store the file, but the number of taps could be significant and this upload fails half the time and forces you to start over. That's why I just leave it on the default "My Drive", since that is also where the Google Doc went. 12. Tap "Upload" in the upper right corner. 13. USUALLY the first attempt to upload fails and you get the "Upload Failed" dialog. Tap "Close" 14. Back to Share Sheet. Scroll to and tap "Drive" icon again. 15. If account settings and Folder settings are correct, tap "Upload" again. [REPEAT 13-15 for each time the upload fails] [Then REPEAT ALL STEPS for each Wave you want to upload. You have to re-approve the app with Google EVERY SINGLE TIME.] 16. Go to Google Drive and move the files to where I want them. I realize some of these steps are required by Apple and/or Google. But is there no way to: 1. Authenticate with Google ONCE for the Wave App while you have it open. Then upload all the waves you need to upload without having to go through the authentication screen every single time? 2. Better yet, can we have a "select" checkbox in the Wave list that lets us select and upload multiple Waves at once? Maybe in a zip file, even? 3. There really needs to be a single-tap way to share the text summary, the text transcript (either in one text file or two), AND the audio at the same time. Then all could be uploaded to Drive and it would be worth the time to choose the final location in the Upload dialog. 4. Best option would be to allow users to choose where they store their waves by default. Either in Dropbox or Google Drive or iCloud. Even if it is in iCloud Drive, I can open that folder on my computer and drag multiple wave audio and text files to Google Drive at once, which would be a better experience than what is currently offered. You know what would be great - if individual folders in Wave behaved similarly to projects in GPT and I could prompt other outputs in the contents of each folder. I think that would then give the application another usable dimension.

I cannot copy the summary text that’s in any specific wave recording. Very redundant/time consuming to have to download text each time I record.

I don’t seem to see an option to select voice activation for recording. It would be convenient so that I could have the iPhone next to a document that I am reading and not have to hit the pause button every time I finish adding a snippet to the recording. If the voice activation could also include a sensitivity setting for the microphone, that would be great.

I would love to be able to click multiple people send a transcript to after a meeting instead of doing it one at a time.

When I try to edit one of my recent recordings I get this error message. My older recordings have no problem with editing. Error parsing markdown: Unexpected character `,` (U+002C) in name, expected a name character such as letters, digits, `$`, or `_`; whitespace before attributes; or the end of the tag. You can fix the errors in source mode and switch to rich text mode when you are ready.

It would be great to be able to easily link back to the point in the transcript/recording where each point in the summary is referenced from.

Many times when recording an ongoing call and I have to stop it or re dial in, Wave will create a transcript and recording that simply has the “merge calls” audio and nothing else. This then clogs the inbox. If wave could auto delete clear misfires that would be helpful

Right now, users have to waste time using third-party apps to convert these to ⁠.wav⁠ or ⁠.mp3⁠ before bringing them into WaveAI. * The Fix: Adding native ⁠.caf⁠ support removes this frustrating extra step. Mac and iOS users can just drag and drop their original files. * Bonus Benefit: Standard ⁠.wav⁠ files have a 4GB size limit, but ⁠.caf⁠ does not. Supporting this format future-proofs WaveAI for users uploading extra-long, high-resolution audio files.

Could we add Apple Notes to the share to with formatting?

Would love to record X spaces within the app instead of using a microphone in a quiet room.

“Pause On” silence longer than ## minutes then continue recording until a specific end recording time is set. When done recording have the option to remove or trim silence longer than ## minutes if “on pause” is not set.

I currently have to share each recording twice. The first time I share it I use the “Google Docs“ option. That only uploads the summary and transcript as a doc file to “My Drive” in one tap, which is great. Then I have to separately share the audio to Google Drive (which itself is a multi-step process). I would like to be able to share the both the doc and the audio m4a file to Google Drive in one share action. Thank you for your consideration

I was 20 or so minutes into a recording and a notification popped up on my phone. I tried to swipe it away but it ended up closing the recording window down and now it is all lost.

I would love to have Wave integrated with Discord like it is with Zoom, Teams, etc. I use this for school and we have Study Sessions in Discord that this would be great to use with

Extract the audio, transcribe and summarize video files. As a further enhancement, maybe OCR the video content (slides, people’s names, etc.) and add in the transcription and the summary.

No matter what I do, I cannot disconnect from Zoom. The bot is appearing on every meeting. I attend in creating concerns.

For recordings of meetings that had an agenda prepared it would be nice to be able to send wave the agenda so that the summarized notes might organize the notes similar to how the agenda was organized.

I really need to use Wave on my personal computer/laptop as well. Please guide how to?

I use a reMarkable tablet to take manual notes in pretty much all meetings I attend; it's the best way for me to remember, i.e. taking manual notes. However, it would be awesome to be able to export the Wave AI structured summary after my unstructured hand written notes, including a compact version of action items and follow-ups.

This is the most important missing feature to me since AI agents love markdown. Side Note: The slide up Share and export menu is flaky on my Mac. The spinners get stuck sometimes, and export will not work on any format. Restarting the app doesn't work. The only fix that I have found is to restart the computer.

Export in bulk for those who use a personal knowledge management system

Sometimes I record webinars and have to leave. It would be great if the recording would automatically stop when it senses no sound.

Hi, it would be very helpful to have a view where I can see which records are already stored in which folder and which are in the main structure. Either so that what I move to the folder disappears from the overall view, or the option to display records "without folder" or in the overall list view for each item where it is located. What do you think? It would help me a lot in editing and records management 🙏

When there is a delay in uploading/it’s going slowly, it is unclear whether I can start a new recording/meeting straight away. Either allow this or if it is possible, add the button/feature to record next meeting on the upload screen - I’m often in back-to-back meetings or might start a second portion of a meeting that I want summarised separately.

It would be nice to be able to record the instructional videos to generate notes/summaries. Right now, you can record it with just using the system microphone and letting it play out loud through the speakers. If there was an extension on the browser to directly record the audio of a video, this would allow users to have headphones phone to listen to the lecture. The extension should have the capability of connecting to the meeting apps like MS Team, WebEx, Zoom, Google Meet, etc, since many people have one but not the other. For example, my company uses MS Teams, but some costumers have WebEx or Zoom. When I join using the browser because I hardly use the others, I don't want to install those apps. I want the capability of joining through the browser and have Wave record it and not have to use the computer's mic and speakers to record the session.

Is there a way to relisten to a recording 0.5 or 0.8 x1.5 or x2.0?

When relistening to a recording it would be great to be able to hit a button to rewind and relisten to the last ten seconds At the moment, you have to use to use the slide button and it is difficult to move forward or backwards

I work with many folks that have names spelled differently than the app delivers in its summaries. Mine for one Marc always spelled Mark. Stefanie always spelled Stephanie and others. I also have constant instances of others words I’m constantly replacing before I can share that have several instances throughout summaries. It would be a huge benefit to have a find and replace feature to simplify and expedite these tasks. Thanks for considering and thanks for the great app. It has drastically improved my performance.

It would be good to have a feature where we can record for long but can convert that into multiple meetings . Eg:- in my case I might have a 2 hour meeting where there will be multiple teams coming in parts and going with generally a common agenda and then specific to teams . So ability to cut the recording into parts and this summarise into customisable meeting shorts will be a good to have feature .

I’m loving the new Action Items feature. However, I noticed that this feature is only available within the Wave app. I use the “Share and Export > Send via Email” feature a lot. When using this option, currently, both the summary and transcript are shared. Would it be possible to include the new Action items feature in the “Share and Export > Send via Email” feature so all three, the summary, transcript, and action items are included?

Would be great to have a setting that allowed us to determine a period of time of silence that would automatically end a recording and start transcription. Have left it running in accidentally a few times recording nothing but silence.

There may already be a way to do this, I just don’t know how to phrase it. I was successful in using customization styles to have a certain phrase added to the title of the recording, e.g. “Add ‘Core Team’ to the title”. That works. But I have not been able to get it to add the recording date to the title. I’ve tried “Add ‘Core Team’ and recording date to the title” and I’ve tried simply “Add recording date to the title” and these do not produce the desired result. Is there a way I can phrase this to get that date into the title along with the “Core Team” text? Honestly, I would prefer a setting with a checkbox for adding the recording date to the title to all recordings. This makes it much quicker and easier to share to Google Drive and have an automated action script that will sort the recording once it’s there. Thank you for your consideration.

I'd love a way to edit the metadata and change the date of an imported file to reflect when it was originally recorded, rather than when it was uploaded to the app. I would like to view my recordings sorted in chronological order, but many of my uploaded audio files were bulk-imported on the same day and are sorted by that date instead of when they were created.

We currently have to edit each line individually, even though mistakes are often repeated throughout. There should be a way to correct all repetitive errors. It would be preferred if it could be done through the AI chat interface. For Example: [USER] "Throughout the transcript, you refer to 'absidy.' That is a person with creative parents, whose name is spelled 'ABCDE.'" [WAVE.AI] "Oh, now I get it, let me fix that for you throughout the transcript and summary... All done!"

I have been unable to override app settings and utilize any Bluetooth microphone I have (I have many options!) to record. App ignores phone settings and only uses the microphone on the phone (Pixel 6a). This makes recording notes on the move difficult. Several other competitive apps allow selection of audio input devices. And yes, I have reinstalled the app with the permission to select nearby devices enabled.

As a consultant, it would be amazing if I could export transcripts of entire folders of recordings. It would be very helpful as I currently am copy pasting all contents of a folders transcripts into one word doc for AI to use for context, and that is a very manual process.

First. I love this app. It’s a game changer for my business I have recently had issues with dropping calls especially while on blue tooth or not being able to dial out I’m the last few weeks. It will seem like it’s dialing but never actually dials out. But because I use wave largely for phone recording I would like to have a default setting that’s it’s ready for a phone call when I go into the app. Also, when in a call and trying to connect to the third party call recording line takes WAAAAY TOO LONG. Tape a talk pro is almost instant and much faster and takes less than 2 seconds to connect to the call recording line. So your app is all but useless when I want to record a call that I am receiving. I would like in the app when I’m receiving a call to have the app give me a notice and option to record the call and start the third party recorded line.

If we can have folders inside of folders you can have a main Shopping list and then separate Amazon, grocery store, and Home Depot folders inside that folder.

Can it be possible to move your deleted recordings to a specific folder. That folder would automatically delete those recordings after 30 days. You could also perm delete those from that folder if you wish. I’ve deleted recordings that are unrecoverable in the past.

Twice I have had a recording stopped because an alarm I set went off. I’d like to be able to snooze it without my recording being stopped.

I have had two instances the past couple days where my recording has errored out mid recording. The first was due to a phone call received mid recording that stopped my recording even when I sent to voicemail. The second just errored out mid recording and there were no disturbances that would have stopped the recording. Is this possibly a bug that needs fixing? Thanks!

Many times I’m needing to update the spelling or the meanings of acronyms throughout the summary. It would be great if I could ask the chat to update the summary instead of manually having to individually update every time that word/acronym is used during the meeting and thus referenced in the summary.

Hi the speaker accent detection is still very poor and certain medical terms are not recognized.

I often forward my summaries to co workers and end up having to delete the transcript portion before forearding. It would be nice if that was optional.

Recently I went to a board meeting, of which I’m the secretary, which lasted for 2.5 hours. My phone was in the center of the room on a table which I could see from A distance. The phone was inadvertently moved while recording and it paused. The display colors, a bright red were easily seen from my position , but it being paused was not easily discernible. Unfortunately, I only got the first 30 minutes of the meeting. I would like to suggest that the screen color automatically change to dark blue if the program is not recording. I would have then been able to see that it had stopped recording and could have remedied the situation.

I am trying your software out for my organization as a tool to replace note taking by our secretary of the board. I am working on an iPad Pro 5th generation running the most current iOS 18.0.1 and your program freezes up. So far, I can’t add my phone number in settings and when I try to save a recording to a specified folder, it also crashes (actually the app freezes and I have to restart the app. Is your app compatible with the latest iOS?

the app does not record discussions accurately when the speaker has an accent. This should be integrated into the app.

Keep the imported title instead of having AI create one. I like to keep my meeting summaries organized by the meeting name + date but the summarization changes it completely.

Whether you add a bot to a teams, zoom, or other meeting in error, there is no way to cancel or recall the bot from that meeting. This is also helpful if your portion of a meeting is complete, but the organizers are staying on to have a private leadership meeting after. Once your portion of the meeting is complete, you can recall the bot, rather than have the organizers manually remove the bot from the meeting (which can be frustrating or annoying for them). This is especially important for states which require that all parties must agree to being recorded.

Bring this app to Apple Watch complete with a complication.

It’s extra work to have to edit the note title after every recording, to provide the desired note title instead of the AI provided note title. For example, if the note was a 1:1 meeting recording, I would want to title it as that and not the typical title summary the note usually provides. I’d like to be able to say during the voice recording “title this note “1:1 meeting with John and Sally” for example, and have that automatically made the title during processing.

AMR is a known standard for call recording software. This would be a huge WIN for your company as this would make you compatible with many auto call recording apps. When I try to import a amr file it starts and locks up. Please let me know if this is worked on. For me this is critical.

I've noticed that the exported summaries often include unnecessary characters like asterisks (*) and hash marks (#). These elements make the text harder to read and understand. It would be beneficial to remove these characters to improve clarity and professionalism in all exported summaries. This simple fix would enhance readability and provide a better user experience across the board.

In the new web interface, no results are displayed in the UI when I do a global search. I checked out the network tab, and it looks results are being returned--they just aren't propagating in the UI. For me, being unable to search for specific terms throughout all recordings defeats the purpose of having all these transcribed meetings. I can search by title, but often the specific term I'm looking for isn't in the ai-generated title. That being said, the new interface looks great, and I hope the search functionality will be restored soon.

I waited for a call back so that my UK line could be verified. There is no call back as promised. Verification number gets displayed but the actual validation whereby you get a call and then enter the valid numbers is a big foul.

Export the Wave summary to a workspace in MS Loop. It’s a great collaboration app that I’ve had my company start using to keep project notes all in one place. There isn’t any direct integration from OneNote to Loop. I have to copy and paste.

As an android user note apps tend to concentrate on Apple products. Being able to harness the power of Wvae AI summaries of some of my existing notes would be valuable.

I still need to write notes throughout my day. Plans, meetings agendas, reminders, to do lists. If there was a notebook (like the remarkable) that linked with wave to organize it all and rewrite it legibly and neatly that would make paper obsolete and integrate altogether

While voice recording, simply point and shoot as if you were recording a video. At summary, it will take a photo itself from the video and match with the audio. A normal wave report would be generated with the addition of photos following the sections of text.

I keep meeting notes and journal entries in Wave and I’d like to be able to pull out summaries and insights across notes. I’d love to be able to ask questions like “what themes did I journal on in the last month vs previous months?” Or “what are the most common topics I have when I have meetings with this person”? For Mac, specifically, would love to be able to change the size of the popup. Being able to control the size to be more user-friendly would allow me to read/analyze the Wave better as opposed to it being glued to a smaller size.

I have recently been given the opportunity to try out limitless.AI and their pendant and have to say I’m impressed with not having to be tethered to a iPhone or android device and to use a wearable like this in concert with similar software as Wave for all notetaking is rather impressive. It would be amazing if Wave has a similar strategy in play specifically something like maybe compatibility with the Apple I watch for continual listening and AI driven separation of subject matter topics discussed during the day of listening. That would be epic. And for that matter for AI to have the ability to overtime, learn about my personality in that understands what is personal versus work related and makes recommendations on work related discussions be uploaded to Microsoft 365 or Google Gemini for to do list tracking and personal items to do actions tasks to my personal tracking system of choice. This would put Wave well ahead of any of these start ups.

On desktop, it is great to be able to share the summary and preserve formatting. Please add this when sharing from the app on phone/iPad - makes it much easier to share straightaway and have this be easily digestible to others.

It's that simple! I think it's worth being able to export the summary and/or transcript as a text file, just as it's already possible to do in PDF. In similar applications for remote meetings (Tactiq, Read.ai, etc), this option is common. Today, with Wave, I copy all the content and paste it into a blank TXT file. This is useful when I want to share the content with ChatGPT, for example, because it's a simple and lightweight file.

Most tools cannot download a video on Rumble from the HTML link, but Rumble does provide an embedded link that usually works. If you could add the ability for us to paste a link for a video or audio file to import into Wave, that would be huge.

Have a button that can condense all your call notes into a one page summary and being able to print it out

I would like the ability to use a platform such as open AI Chat GPT 40 to ask questions that are made more intelligent by having access to the entire wave.AI I corpus of my notes universe. This way as I am doing research in open AI, the responses leverages consideration intelligence from my corpus of notes in Wave AI. Like augmenting open AI with a rag of my Wave AI universe of notes.

Maybe the idea of folders is supposed to account for this. My use case is say I am trying to solve a problem inside one company and I’ve had a few in person conversations a few meetings and a few phone conversations. It would be nice to have all of these more accurately linked together so that I can view all of the conversations as a whole.

Many times I need to search a transcription to get more details that the summary doesn’t provide. It’s too difficult to scroll through a 2 hours long transcription to look for things. Please prioritize this feature if possible.

This is my main use case for Otter. I save files to a Dropbox. They import to Otter and the transcript txt gets saved back to the Dropbox folder. I’d prefer Google Drive. But it works. Solves the bulk uploading challenge in the app today.

Hi, please, when I create a zoom bot by inserting a link (but now I find that it happens for the calendar as well), the zoom meeting where I am not the host goes perfectly, but if it is in my zoom room (I am the host), it always logs out after a while. And that's without me throwing it away. I don't know if it's "host" related, but it doesn't happen at meetings where I'm invited.

Just about every meeting starts with a lot of smalltalk, which inevitably gets featured very prominently in your summaries as action items and important outlined information at the top. With a little bit of built in prompting, your LLM would be great at recognizing this and putting all the smalltalk stuff in a section at the bottom. All the bullet points about Mary's dog is going to have grooming, and Jessie had a great steak for dinner yesterday, but John has to clean up his garage should be sent to the bottom!

When I import audios from voice memos the name of the audio changes to something different. Is it possible to make it so that the title stays the same?

But after implementing several participants in beta mode, the text from several participants is exported when exporting, although the toggle is set to the segment position. Hi Josh, First and foremost, I want to start by expressing my deep gratitude once again for the work you have done in the development and continuous improvement of Wave. Before delving into the specifics, I must commend the new interface; it's incredibly attractive. The change in the icon was a very wise decision, and the application is much more agile than before. As you already know, this application has been a transformative tool in my day-to-day life, providing me with very valuable facilities in my clinical work. The recent changes you have implemented are notable and have significantly improved the user experience. Each update has made the application more intuitive and tailored to our needs. However, I would like to discuss a specific functionality that, if possible, could make Wave even more valuable for users like me. Currently, the option to select a pre-copied summary is very practical; however, after each recording, I must wait for the application to generate its own summary before I can choose the one I have predefined. This process, despite being very useful, can be somewhat laborious and consumes valuable time, especially during intense workdays. My question to you is the following: Have you considered the possibility of allowing users to select a specific summary and set it as a permanent default, until they decide to change it manually? This option would allow us, for example, to configure a predefined summary for psychiatric consultations and change it according to the context or need. It would be ideal if this feature also offered the ability to activate or deactivate the predefined summaries, optimizing the workflow even further and saving considerable time. Incorporating the ability to set and modify a predefined summary, in addition to activating and deactivating this selection at convenience, would be a significant improvement for Wave, increasing efficacy for those of us who depend on the app in dynamic work environments. Ability to share summary/transcript to multiple Microsoft accounts.

Working on a computer most of the time, I’m finding it’s easier to get the summaries from the web app. I’d love the ability to 1) Use as many of the Customization template prompts for the summary as you could reasonably add to the web app and 2) Include Share To options with the web app (Notion, Google Drive, Evernote, etc.).

Would love to be able to embed Wave (just the web app version) to Notion pages. Upon my initial attempt, my logging in through Google continued to stall out in the browser that would open to log in. And to make sure it can function from within Notion to some extent.

I use this call for recruiter screens and when I call others, it’s showing as spam. This lessons the ability to get your call answered.

I’d like to have a share automatically happen once a Wave is finished processing. Say, to Notion, or email, or any of the other ways. But happen automatically when processing is complete.

Create an integration with perplexity so users can link their accounts so both apps can use the same inputs when asking questions across a body of notes.

Often times if a date is mentioned in the transcript, the LLM interprets that as the date of the meeting, which it usually isn’t. The prompt should be appended with the start time and date of the recording so that can be noted in the summary.

Allow me to edit the recording transcript (a lot of the time terms, names and other phrases are wrong in the transcript and as a result so does the summary note). It would be even better if the Summary would be automatically updated after any change you make to the Transcript

I was calling a person and as you can see in the image there was no button to stop or hang up the call. I had to hit the record button which started to record then hit the stop recording button to stop it. Makes no sense. How do I hang up a call that is ringing?

Make it so my recording doesn’t pause when an incoming phone call happens during a recording. Currently it either pauses the recording or splits into a new recording. Spam calls are ruining recordings

Hello, I would like to have better audio control go back and forward by 10-15 seconds.

Twice now, the system has been stuck spinning when I have forgotten to stop recording. It seems like AI could detect when the meeting has ended because it would just be background noise.

Successfully recovered 2 audio files today, thanks for bringing back that feature! Notable improvement in receiving alerts when the recording stopped and no longer kicks recording off when I remember to put my phone on DND. Thanks for the hard work!!!

Provide a filter on All Waves screen to hide items that have been filed in other folders. This will help me see which ones I haven’t yet filed so I can file or delete those. Right now there is too much clutter. Extra credit: Additional filter abilities such as only showing waves whose title contains a word I type in

Hi please I really appreciate the possibility of transcribing podcasts, however the moment I tried to translate a Czech podcast and get the corresponding summary I got total nonsense. I have even tried setting it up to specify specific requirements for transcribing it yet it doesn't work. I think this is a great idea but I would need it to work probably in languages other than English.

Hi! I love using this app, it’s my favorite for helping me during class with my college digital note taking accommodations. I won’t lie, I get a visceral sense of dread opening the ‘all waves’ tab even though I have sorted them all into folders. It would be so nice to have the option to give each wave a color and the folders too. Like if I could organize all my history notes into a green folder and make all the waves in that photo have a green tinted box around it or something. I think it would make the interface more user friendly and less like looking at an endless list of random waves, you know?

I’ve been working and saving the conversation and transcription of my files, but I know it is that I’m missing some of them. I haven’t deleted them. How can I recover the files with red run information?

When I export the transcript to google drive I have to navigate to the desired folder each time. The dialogue should start with the last used folder.

Allow for speaker name corrections/ substitution a cross the summary. Many times the names are spelled incorrectly. With the option to substitute names identified it would be an easy correction across the summary

The format of the summary of my phone conversations is inconsistently done by your program. It seems we look regardless Duration of my conversation, the program will randomly provide a beautifully laid out bullet point summary. My last conversation with a client was over five minutes and it is only a paragraph summary. Then it randomly provides only a paragraph of a summary.. I believe there is a glitch in your program.

I really really like this app, but after I used it a few times it wouldn’t let me use it without paying and I’m broke, but if I wasn’t broke, I would definitely be paying for it Like it’s 100+ dollars a year I don’t have that type of money or any. File keeps stalling when uploading

I'm not sure if the interface can do this, but I would like to use a drag-and-drop organization feature in case I add a recording to the wrong folder or if I need to move multiple recordings to a folder.

Would be a great add to be able to rename folders, be able to move folders up and down in the stack to help organize newer and older folders in an order and to have parent folders with subfolders. Would be a lot more useful for heavy users like me

When I open the app, it is now too big for the screen and I can’t get to my Home Screen. The button to move forward is below where I can touch. It was fine before. Because of this I can’t get to any of my recordings.

Sometimes Apple Watch recordings disappear instead of getting synced up to the phone in the cloud. I assume it has something to do with whether the phone app is active or online at the time. But regardless of the reason, can it somehow be cached on the watch until it successfully transfers it to the phone?

I have tons of meetings throughout the day that I record and refer back to but it would be super helpful if after each meeting Wave could automatically email the meeting notes and transcript to me that way I don't forget to put the notes into my CRM and follow up with action items it would just help me a lot.

Be able to add Wave while in a call going in or out and there’s a “more” button typically when you make a phone call with iOS. It’d be nice if there’s in that “more”option there was a record for Wave. As sometimes you’ll receive a phone call and you wish you would’ve recorded it for not taking purposes, but you’re not able to do that or you’re making a call. all the Wave meetings are recorded without a title and Date. it will be great if this can be integrated into the new meeting recordings. The Title are vague and I have to g through all meetings to sort my meetings and time when the meeting occurred

You guys need to update the audio playback. Need to playback at faster speeds and have better U/I for the timeline and play/stop buttons.

The latest update made copying a summary even more difficult. Allowing the information to easily be copied and pasted where it can be used seems like a no brainer. While you are at it, make it so that when pasting you don't get all the symbols and weird formatting. What is the point of doc generation if you have to totally reformat everything after taking it out of the app?

the Transcript section on the meeting summary you see on the native Wave app is super helpful. once you export the meeting summary to notion the Transcript section shows as a big block of text without the paragraphs formatting and timestamps. it would be amazing if you can add that to the exported summary format on Notion

Ability to record Teams calls

I was 30 minutes into a meeting and received an incoming call that I sent to voicemail and continued my meeting. When I went into the app to see my meeting summary it stopped right at the moment the incoming call came in and didn’t record anything else so I lost half of the meeting.

This is offered by otter.ai and I thoroughly missed this feature in wave. This will win major customer base

Today I take the auto summary generated by wave and dump it in into a GPT instance, which has my preferred format for notetaking based on the type of call I recorded. I would kill to have the ability to create a structure/format for a summary, and make multiple versions (i.e. customer call, internal call, investor call - all with different sub headers to be filled in).

I need the ability to modify the transcripts, as well as it is too difficult for me to fit the transcripts on my phone, then have to email each PDF. I would like the ability to edit on a computer. I typically record 8-10 meetings a day and need to save each of these meetings in order to provide documentation for my current career role.

I see that you have an export feature to notion. Having an export to Evernote functionality would also be fantastic for those who do not use Notion.

Hey, you know what I'd appreciate. The ability to view records that are not in any Folder.

I love the tool and use it a lot for work. Instead of having to apply my saved customization to the summary and having to wait for it to re-process, is there a way to we could pick the customization option once the call is over prior to it processing so it’s not having to process twice? Or, could a customization be saved as the default so it doesn’t have to be applied each time?

I was 45 min into a recording. A call came in and went to vm and the whole 45 min lost!!! Seriously huge bug there

Some recent update made it so that if a customization is so long that it scrolls off the bottom of the phone screen, one can’t scroll to the “customize” button.

There needs to be detailed instructions on recording phone calls with transcripts. I tried it and it did not record the other persons voice. A YouTube video would be great.

I used another app (Minutes AI) that had an AI chat option. I would love to see wave introduced something like this. Users would be able to ask the AI specific questions related to the meeting. This would be useful for long meetings. Instead of looking through a long summary we would be able to ask the AI what we are looking for.

Do you have any plans to tie the app to a Galaxy watch 7. Even if it an option to open it on the phone and have it start recording.

My phone was recording an hour long meeting and almost done. My phone then went to sleep and the recording stopped. Is there a way to stop the phone from doing that, while it’s actively recording? The file still says recording but there was no pause or resume and I lost the entire file.

Currently, when you print or export the summary, part of the document is cut off. Consequently, you’re missing portions of sentences making it difficult to read. Can you all make the scaling when printing match the summary in the app?

More elegant handling of audio interruptions which pause recordings. Instead of simply ending recordings, interruptions will pause the recording and push a local notification to make sure you know the recording is paused. Then you can simply unpause and continue the recording.

I purschased the app and I have Family share. Do my children need to pay separately for the app?

Currently it appears that exports remive all formatting making transcripts difficult to follow outside the app.

The app seems to keep crashing every time I use it - I’m getting less impressed about its reliability. I’ve missed recordings of a number of meetings and I would like to know if any improvements are planned.

I just started using the app and now in multiple Meetings it seems that if you try and use the pause feature, the transcript and summary engine does not restart once you resume.

The manage subscription page is not populated with pricing and uncontrollably scrolls below the bottom of the page. My wife has it on an apple phone and I think Wave is the best in the industry. I'll pay the full price if given a chance.

Many companies do not allow direct import to onenote due to data policy risk. Can you please allow export to IPhone Notes. This would allow me to copy paste into OneNote.

Ability to rename summary files

Context on this one is that when you are recording using the iOS app and you take the app out of you to for instance open an email or look through another document. The recording often seems to fail and totally stop working. It would be great if the recording could continue without any sort of issue while another app is open and in view. Think about how if you were at a meeting and you were talking through a PDF document or looking at emails you would want the recording to continue while you were talking through or looking at some document on your phone. The recording should continue. Look at the Shazam feature where the find song feature continues after you leave the app.

First, I am obsessed with this app. I want to upgrade to a yearly subscription, but I am having a hard time understanding the differences between the professional plans. What are the differences between the $139, the $179 and $199 options?

How do I get help from the people who made the app? There is no email and the chat option is greyed out. And how do I ask for help without having to sign up for another thing?

There are times when the Wave app gets paused during a meeting because of an incoming phone call or something like that. I know there’s a resume button, but sometimes I accidentally hit the main record button and it starts over. My recommendation is have an option to merge 2 Waves together to create 1 complete summary and not 2 partial summaries.

Why does the app crash every time I try to make a call?

Wave is my favorite app and I have probably turned 20 people on to it. With that said I am having one issue. On my mac desktop, I can only select the sumamries that are showing on my screen. It won't allow me to scroll with my mouse/trackpad up to any summaries that were created beyond what is showing on my screen at that time. I provided a screen shot that shows my summaries but there is no way to see any beyond what is showing on the screen shot. Does that make sense? Anyway, let me know if you need more info.
