Screen blackout
Add a feature that allows for the screen to blackout for long meeting. Other recording apps have this feature.

@John Null This should work then - you can background the app and/or turn off the screen and it will continue recording no problem.

@Josh Mohrer notifications, whether cleared or not on the iPhone (maybe with the Apple watch), stops recording. For example, if I get a call, alarm, reminder, or text, while the app is in the background, it stops the recording. Only calls stop it when the screen is on. Is that normal?

@John Null Yes audio interruptions will pause (temporarily) the recording. Thats an iOS constraint. the app should notify you and ask you to pop back into the app to resume. It may make sense to set your phone to Do Not Disturb mode before receording.
