I use wave AI a lot, I love it! I use it to record during meetings so I don’t miss details. However if in the meeting I need to show a photo on my phone it’s really awkward that the recording is very obviously on the screen. It would be awesome if it was much more incognito

Understood — a more discreet recording UI. Some of the prominence is deliberate (people in the room deserve to know), but a compact/minimized state so you can use your phone normally is fair. Leaving open. On iOS the Live Activity already lets you leave the app while recording continues.
