Run long recordings which can be split into multiple short meetings and summaries

It would be good to have a feature where we can record for long but can convert that into multiple meetings . Eg:- in my case I might have a 2 hour meeting where there will be multiple teams coming in parts and going with generally a common agenda and then specific to teams . So ability to cut the recording into parts and this summarise into customisable meeting shorts will be a good to have feature .

This would be a great feature! I just had a meeting and I forgot to turn Wave off until halfway into the next meeting, so I let it continue. Now I've got two meetings and one recording. I'd love to be able to split them at a certain point and then have it re-summarized for each one separately.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I would like a tool to pick a time in the recording and it would split the session into 2 sessions and rerun the summaries. I have similar conversations about different projects and the details are mixed up. Since we now have the ability to trim, it would work just as well if we could duplicate a session and trim both the original and the new session.

I do often have back to back meetings with immediate transitions (no pause or break to stop and restart). This would be helpful, I could even split based on a keyword that was said as the marker point. Most meetings at least have a comment made with moving to the next topic.

Split is live. Open the recording, go into Trim, flip the toggle to Split, drag the divider to the hand-off point (the audio scrubs as you drag so you can hear where it lands), and tap Split. This session keeps the first half; everything after it becomes a new session with its own transcript and summary, filed in the same folders. Undo puts it all back. It's on the web now, in iOS/Android 3.9.8, and in Desktop 2.2.0. Keyword-based splitting isn't there, but scrubbing to the "ok, next topic" moment is quick. help.wave.co/managing-sharing/trim-a-recording-cut-out-what-you-don-t-need
