This is the most important missing feature to me since AI agents love markdown. Side Note: The slide up Share and export menu is flaky on my Mac. The spinners get stuck sometimes, and export will not work on any format. Restarting the app doesn't work. The only fix that I have found is to restart the computer.

@deer god are you using the Wave Desktop app? https://go.wave.co/desktop? Sounds like you may be using the iPhone/iPad app on your Mac? Will get export to markdown shippied in short order!

@Josh Mohrer I was using the desktop app at the time. It just got super flaky and each time the menu got weird restarting. The Mac was the only solution that I could find. Restarting the app was not adequate. Happy to try additional specific testing if you need it. Can’t wait for Mark down!

Hey Allen @deer god, you are actually not using the Desktop app, you are using the iPhone app stretched for Mac. Better to use the actual desktop app: https://go.wave.co/desktop Trust me :)

I love this suggestion! I've been having problems with meeting note PDFs consuming way too much context windows and tokens when used within places like Claude Cowork, and I've had to have claude re-summarize into markdown.
