Automatically start Wave for assigned contacts
Allow a designation to assign certain contacts to Wave recording. Anytime that contact calls or is called, Wave automatically starts without being prompted.

Auto-recording calls from specific contacts isn't there yet — leaving open. Per-series auto-record exists for calendar meetings; a per-contact rule for phone calls is the analogous idea and a good one.
