Back-to-Back Meeting Recording

Would be great if uploads and transcription could be paused and allow for a new recording where both/all could be uploaded and transcribed later.
I spend my day jumping from meeting to meeting and can only record every other one due to the current limitation of not starting another until the above steps are completed for the prior one.
I’m glad to wait for the summaries and AI interactions as I use those later in the day after all my calls are complete and just need the ability to capture everything first before worrying about next steps.

Once the initial upload step is done and it says, "its safe to leave the app", you can use the X at the top and record your next meeting. I just tested it myself and it was processing two recordings at once.

Alex Adams- Hi Alex. This is helpful but I’m still stuck with the long upload times preventing back to back recordings. With most meetings being 60-90 minutes, there just isn’t a fast enough way to record another meeting before those uploads complete..very slowly. Would be great I’d Wave even just allowed a second device (MacBook, iPad, iPhone, etc to start a new recording while the previous one was being uploaded on the original device. Sadly, that’s not possible.

Steve Dunn, what are you connected to when you are uploading? It sounds like you might be on very weak wifi if a 60–90 minute upload is taking that long. My first thought would be to try dropping wifi. My second thought is that I would try using the X during an upload one time either while testing or during a non-essential meeting. The app says to not leave
the app
, not necessarily to touch nothing
. If neither of those work, you could always try to have a simple voice recorder application open instead and import it later into the app, which is fully supported. See the import tab for more info. Let me know how you make out!X

It would be great to be able to add markers to the audio file and/or transcript to be able to break a wave recording into segments or separate meeting and have the option to be able to refresh summaries accordingly.
